ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Aaron Feldman

Founder, True Light Productions

Since I was 11 years old, I have been fortunate to know exactly what I wanted to do. That early sense of direction led me to Brooks Institute of Photography, where I triple majored in marketing and advertising, digital photography, and web. I graduated with honors in 2000 and began photographing corporate events that same year.

My earliest inspiration came from my grandfather, a World War II photographer and reporter who later worked for the Los Angeles Times. He was one of the first photographers to photograph the Beatles, rode alongside Walt Disney before Disneyland opened, and captured one of the most famous photographs of Sophia Loren and Jayne Mansfield. Hearing about his life and seeing his work made me want to pursue photography myself.

Yes, this is the real me

Throughout my career, I have photographed commercial campaigns, lifestyle, branding, editorial, sports, weddings, and corporate events. That variety taught me how to think quickly on my feet, adapt to different personalities and environments, and make decisions when there is only one opportunity to capture a photograph.

Over the years, I discovered incredibly talented photographers and videographers. I also learned that talent includes much more than creating great images. It means providing excellent customer service, communicating clearly, being punctual, and interacting with clients in an engaging and professional way. Those qualities became central to how I built the team at True Light Productions.

Today, I oversee the company’s standards, growth, and expansion. I stay involved in how we serve our clients, develop our team, and improve our photography and video services for events worldwide.

Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family, playing baseball, and traveling. In 2015, my world was flipped upside down when I was diagnosed with stage 4 leukemia/lymphoma. After a three year battle, I am now considered cured, and I am grateful every day.

Surviving cancer profoundly shaped my perspective and strengthened my belief that there is no challenge too big to face. It changed how I value my time, my relationships, and the opportunities in front of me. I bring that perspective into how I live, lead my team, and work through challenges.
